We recommend Tenant Protection because Kissel Hill Self-Storage does not cover loss in your unit(s). Homeowner’s insurance is some protection, but your deductible is usually higher. Sometimes your stored items may not be covered by your homeowner’s policy.
If you file a claim, depending on your policy, your premiums could go up or your policy could be canceled.

How to file a claim
- Notify the manager.
- Take photos of any damage to your items and the storage unit. Please take photos of the source of damage if possible. DO NOT throw anything away until you speak with a claims specialist.

- For claims involving crime, have a police officer visit the unit and file a police report.
